I'm wondering if you could help me out with something I bought in Budapest Hungary.
In 2002 I was deployed to Bosnia ( U.S. Army ) I had the pleasure of taking a weeks leave in Budapest. I was walking in downtown and seen this cup in an antique store window.
I knew I had to have it. I don't know if I paid 50 Bucks or 500 Bucks for the thing because no one in the shop spoke English. I just handed the guy my stack of money and he took out what it cost....I really didn't care how much it was I just had to have it.
I'm not sure what or when the piece is from or made, I know there has been allot of wars fought in Budapest over control of the Danube river. If you know anything about this or where I can find out more about it. I would greatly appreciate any help.
