I found another article by Les Hopper (it is undated but refers to his March 1996 Prosit article) entitled Solved Mystery "Unsolved." I obtained this draft from Les and it may not have been published. He worked with David Harr in connecting Rudy Dekker with the Hanke firm. In the article Les was now of the opinion that Rudy Dekker may have worked for Girmscheid but also worked elsewhere and that he has never seen a Girmscheid marked stein with the RD initials. Les had over 200 Girmscheid pieces in his collection, but only one Hanke marked piece signed RD. The stein in the March 1996 article would have been another one, although unmarked. Ron
