Rich, I just picked up a stein a few months ago with the same mark. It's on a stein for Mader's German Restaurant in Milwaukee, I guess the stein decided to come to Florida for the winter. The only difference I see between yours and mine is yours has 2 EE's stamped into the bottom of the stein and mine has 2 AA's.
