I thought I'd be able to figure this out by seeing what the European NFL teams said; but they have dissolved. But I discovered there is an American Football league in Germany. They call themselves the German Football League (GFL) even on their all German site. They seem to call American Football "American Football". There are a bunch of teams, I suspect the natural ones for stein collectors to root for would be the Saarland Hurricanes or the Munich Cowboys.
