Jorge, I was hoping someone who actually owns this pair of plaques would jump into the conversation and fill in the blanks. Without such I’ll tell what I can. One includes a Vestal fire that would suggest Rome while the other appears to be an old German town on a lake surrounded by mountains, so not Brussels. I believe the 01 does indicate 1901 date of production. These plaques are referred to as allegories of “Day and Night”, just as Schlitt’s most desired pair, #2697 and 2698. The Eisenwerth and Thomas book on Heinrich Schlitt gives more information.
