You've raised an excellent question. Over the years, collectors have credited a substantial number of similar pieces to Diesinger, including your Boston souvenir, based largely on the stippling, a characteristic often associated with the Diesinger factory. To the best of my knowledge none have ever been seen with a "DRGM 154927" mark or any other clear Diesinger identifier. On the other hand, I've personally observed quite a few with Girmscheid marks. In spite of the fact that the Bunker Hill souvenir (#888) can still be found in the Beer Stein Library's online Diesinger catalog, along with a few similar souvenir pieces, I suspect it's quite possible that they were all actually produced by Girmscheid. We may never know for sure on some of them, but that would certainly explain the "coincidence".
