This is what is called a "Regensburg" style stine even though Regensburg was only one of at least sixteen different factories that made these steins. The steins date from 1860 to 1905 when the last were made. The porcelain inlaid lids are typical of the 1860 to 1880 time frame. Risque inserts are not uncommon, but as a rule are not used very often. These steins were sold without lids and the seller was probably equipped to provide the buyer with the lid of their choice. Oh, and the scene is the "Wedding at Canaan" not the last supper.
