I'm sorry but I can't post a picture right now. The area in question is less glossy than the rest of the Border. It is not, however, feathered or abraded looking. Also directly underneath on the bottom of the stein, in perfect alignment with the area, there is an overlap on the paint that goes further than the rest of the paint around the periphery on the bottom. As I say, There doesn't appear to be any scrape marks but it's not glossy. When there is a glaze 'miss', doesn't that mean the gloss is not there not just the paint? Does that help explain it better? Thank You to Dan and Walt. John B.
