The stein I have has a hunting scene of 2 man at a table being served with food and drink there are 2 hunting dogs waiting for scraps. One side of the handle there is a dogs head with a pheasant in it's mouth with the words "Im Wald und auf der Haide" in English "In the forest and on the Haide" on the other side of the handle is a dogs head with a hare in it's mouth with the words "Da such ich meine Freude" in English "There my joy seeks I" this is app. what is ment. On the botton is West Germany and a tri-angle with a letter 'T' with a line going over the top right through the tri-angle. I'v just started collecting and want to put a story with my steins, I bought one from the Monasee ( not sure about the spelling) Dam 43 years ago and it's still mint condition and I would like a pound for every pint that it's held.
