Hello, My name is Tom, and I'm looking for information about a GERZ stein I own, with the thought of selling it. I am trying to find out if the stein could be an unknown Budweiser stein, or possibly a prototype that was never produced for the mass market. It has a striking similarity to a CS78, with a lid. Obviously the colors are different, the picture of the A and the Eagle aren't there in the true sense, but are depicted using the Barley and Hops, and the Budweiser name isn't there. The other physical characteristics of the the stein are the identical. I received the stein as a gift in 1987. It has been sitting on a shelf, new, and unused, all these years.
