The emphasis has to be on affordability not on who can buy the most expensive Mettlach, or double overlay glass in pink, white and clear. Ego is fine for those who can afford it. Many new collectors are intimidated right out of SCI the first time they attend a convention and visit a long time collectors home. After 23 years of collecting, I have none of the big three in my collection.
