My collection is 95%, blue and gray, salt glaze stoneware from three factories, Hauber & Reuther, Fritz Thenn and Merkelbach and Wick and I was able to become a Master Steinologist without collecting any of the big three. Think affordability, swallow your ego and have some fun. The real fun is in a successful hunt for that new Marzi-Remy, or whatever, piece for your collection.
