As one of the younger members, I can certainly understand why many of my peers might be averse to collecting. Aside from price (which is perhaps a defining deterrent), collecting entails activities such as "antique shopping" that seem foreign to many young people. Whatever the case, SCI members need to ensure that the club and our collections retain value and appreciation.
