Justin: Stein collecting can be what you make it. It can be expensive, but there are also some very nice steins that were made between the 1880's through the 1920's that are very affordable... searching is part of the fun and it really should be about buying steins that you like that are priced fairly for their state of preservation. I tend to look at steins more as art. Have fun...
