It is in perfect condition with no blemishes, other than normal patina on the pewter footring. There is NO evidence that it ever had a lid - no scratches from the band on the handle or anywhere on the edges of the stein. It is from a June 16, 1907 (16. Juni 1907) celebration of the gunners from the "Prinz Regent Luitpold" brigade from Augsburg and area (Augsburg is in Bavaria). It has wonderful photograph of Prince Regent Leopold at an earlier age (he ruled for almost fifty years until he died at the age of 91 in 1912). It also has cannons, and the Coat of Arms of the Royal Bavarian family. It is signed on the bottom "105 Weber Augsburg". There is no lithophane. This item is guaranteed to be as described, and may be returned for any reason within 7 days for full refund less actual shipping charges, subject to our refund policy. U.S. Postal shipping of this item west of the Mississippi is 28.00. I will ship anywhere in the world (except Indonesia). " ( do we hae SCI members in Indonesia?) Is this a true Regimental Stein?
