Yes, 1900-1902 indicates dates of active service, reservists generally served 3 years. It's a Field Artillary unit, which is not by any means a rare unit, fairly common behind Infantry units. Can't read the town in which the unit was raised, looks like it begins with a G. That could indicate scarsity of unit, and surviving numbers available from that unit. Hairlines on rarer units are tolerable and do not detract from value. Most regimentals are unmarked, so mfgs are not known, many times were ordered through a middleman, like a tobacco shop.
