Greetings: I have two questions about a Bismarck character stein. It is the first one listed on p. 304 of Kirsner's Book. First, are all of these Schierholz steins marked on the bottom? Second, inside the porcelain lid on the interior ceiling of the lid, is there suppost to be metal, likely pewter that extends through the porcelain that can easily be seen or is that sign that it has been repaired? The stein is in decent shape with some signs of aging. I sincerely appreciate any thoughts you may have. Thanks,
