Hi everyone! It's been a while since I've been here, but I am back hoping I can pick your brains once again. I have 2 steins that the markings have me baffeled and I could really use your help. Both appear to be older and both are German in origin. The first one is a small (5 inch high) stein with a dry bottom (no glaze) with 2 impressed marks. One says Germany the other, I cannot figure out. http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c315/pirologists/greenstein5.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c315/pirologists/greenstein1.jpg The second one is also impressed Germany and may also be marked 1L (on the bottom) Both appear to be quality steins. The second is missing it's lid. http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c315/pirologists/unknownstein1.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c315/pirologists/unknownstein7.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c315/pirologists/unknownstein8.jpg As always I am very grateful for your assistance.
