Ron, If the body, as opposed to the decoration, was somehow unique, it would be reflected in the body style # (i.e., 1909) rather then the decoration # (i.e., 702). With that in mind, it's reasonably certain that what you've got is simply a printing error. Minor variations in body dimensions can be accounted for by varying shrinkage rates during firing, resulting from differences in the water content of the clay. - Frank
