I have a Mettlach Stein No. 2455 "The Arrival of Lohengrin". which has been in my family for more than 80 years. It belonged to Charlie Birger, the last man legally hanged in Illinois. I am thinking of selling this piece. Can anyone give me any information about this piece and perhaps some idea of the value?
