Thanks for the new clue! Maybe my mystery manufacturer was Eckhardt & Engler. Maybe not, of course. I have found the mark online at http://www.porcelainmarksandmore.com/0myste/01.php but unfortunately that is a page of unidentified marks. That researcher thinks it's an H B, but I'm wondering if it is an H G for Hoehr-Grenzhausen?
