Any info on this 1908 Frankfurt Turnfest pewter cup would be appreciated. http://www.relicmine.com/auction/DSC00091.JPG The emblem appears to be gold or? The body of the cup is made of pewter with incrediblely detailed relief images of historic places including a statue of a nude woman. What at first appeared to be damage to the top front, now looks to me to be part of the molded design, sort of a Liberty bell crack effect. The crack is actually raised up (embossed) on the front. The cup is a little over 5" tall, and 3" across at the top. The sharply embossed mark at the bottom reads; - SCHELLENBERG'S - OFFIZIELLER BECHER - KAISERMAGAZIN - Obviously produced by very fine craftsmen of the period. Thanks!
