Hi, I do a lot of ebay and a friend asked me to sell this for him, he doesn't collect, he just found this one Stein at an estate sale. I thought it looked like a quality Piece so I told him I would find out what I could. It's in about perfect condition, one minor paint fleck off of the Background, the Lid is Loose at the Handle -just wiggles a bit and minor ding on the Lid. Clearly Incised with 'Germany, 1902 gesetzlich geschutzt' Beautifully hand painted scene of a tipsy Gentleman with Tophat and Walknig Stick being escorted by two ladies hoisting Steins of their own. the background is a lovely spray of Edelweiss.
