In the library and elsewhere it is explained that DRGM is a German sort of patent. I came across a discussion on another branch of collecting that said it ended in 1945 (the R being for Reich) but I'm sure it is on post war steins. Later I found reference to DRGM being replaced by DBGM in 1951. So, other than general enlightenment, my question is if a small patent was taken out in say 1905, would items using that invention continue to use DRGM to this day and only new inventions/designs use DBGM? Or, did all the DRGM's and their numbers switch to DBGM?
