From the photo this appears to be a Mettlach 2829, from about 1880-1910. The decoration features towns of Hesse in the Odenwald area (yes, that Oden), and the castle is the Rodenstein, of the "Wild Hunt" fame featured in a poem by Victor von Scheffel (the trumpeter guy). I see one sold at $676, another auction estimated $1100 to 1500 but it didn't sell.
