I believe that I've identified the company: GENERAL GAS LIGHT COMPANY.—KALAMAZOO. "The General Gas Light Company of Kalamazoo is one of the most successful manufacturing institutions in the State. The company was organized in 1901 to manufacture the Humphrey Gas Arc Lamp, an invention of one of Kalamazoo's citizens. They have done a constantly increasing business and are now shipping their product to almost every country in the world. They employ an average of about 115 men at large wages and are constantly extending and making improvements, their place now occupying nearly half a block in the heart of the city. The managers have readily and immediately adopted all recommendations suggested by the department, and are ready to make any improvement the department may require." That was in 1905, the gas light business has declined a bit since then. Still not sure about NCGA but it seems to have been a national trade group which did meet in Atlanta in 1912 for an annual convention.
