It was the National Commercial Gas Association which had its convention in Atlanta in 1912. And, it turns out the General Gas Light Company switched to gas heaters (a fancied antique item now) then moved on to various industrial stuff. It's still going strong under the name Humphrey Co.. Alfred H. Humphrey was the guy who apparently invented a better gas light, and he and his descendants have been inventing and engineering away ever since.
