O.K., until my "Beer Stein Book" arrives I have one more question about a stein (1 of 6) that were given to me...... Most Gerz steins that I have come across on numerous websites are very ornate and colorful. I have read about the stoneware/blue glaze variety but haven't seen many examples. The one that I have has the triangle symbol that indicates that it is not from the "modern" era but little else can be gleaned without some knowledge of the numbering system employed by the Gerz folks. This one is # 968 and has the letter "B" after but not in line with the #. The word "Germany" is under the other designations. All are incised in blue glaze. This is a 0,4 L. stein. Thanks in advance for any info. Chris (hooked on steins)
