Barbara, Since the dates refer to his birth and death, we only know he would have designed the stein between those dates. It could have been made at a later date. My R Merkelbach book showing the 1905 catalog for the jugendstil period does not discuss Franz Ringer. If you send photos to the WebMaster, he might be able to post them for you. Ron
