Collector 510, The 0,5L (the European form is to use a comma instead of a decimal) is a capacity mark that means the stein was designed to hold 1/2 liter. There is usually a line to indicate where the beer should be filled to for that capacity. The KS probably indicates the firm that made the stein. I do not know who KS might be. This kind of mark is usually found on brewery and Oktoberfest steins. While Rastal has the license for the Oktoberfest steins since 1978, they did not make all of them. These Oktoberfest steins are generally marked Rastal on the bottom, but the maker will be identified under the capactiy mark. If it was made by Rastal, it will say Rastal. They also used Franz Stuber of Munich. His mark is FS inside a diamond. Ron
