I have a stein that was given to me about 35 years ago. At that time the person who gave it to me was told it was about 90 years old. The stein has a tavern scene which is very detailed and stands out. It has a pewter lid which inside has the number 88 and DBGM. The top of the stein is cobalt blue and the bottom is cobalt blue with the tavern scene in the middle. Around the handle looks like flowers and mountains along with trees. Behind the handle which looks like a piece of wood) is the number 1803 printed in what looks like a tree. underneath the handle is the words FROHBEIM BIER and DASLIEBEN WIR. On the bottom of the stein is a triangle with a stein in the middle. Underneath the triangle is GERZ and underneath that is W Germany. On the other side of the bottom in gold is something printed which starts with han something and a number 15. Can anyone tell me anything about this stein?
