In going through my parents estate...I've found a beautiful Diesinger (incised D.R.G.M) stein & would like to know more about it. Also incised on the bottom is "545" and a very small "o". It depicts a bavarian hunter wth shotgun eyeing a deer from behind a tree. The deer is looking over behind itself at the hunter. The stein has a pewter top/base is cream colored and has 2 panels on either side of the mural with German words I don't understand. Panel left of mural: "Jeder Deutsche-Becher hat(or gat)seinen eignen Becher" Panel right: "Die alten Deutscheu franken noch eins ebe (or ege)sie gingen" This is very ornately done and I may or may not have gotten a letter wrong. Unfortunately...I am not good with pictures. I may or may not sell this...(family heirloom)... but I would really like to know more about it. Thanks, Paul
