Look for similar items on ebay to see what you could expect to sell it for. However, it is bound to have more sentimental value, unless it was given by an ex-wife or such like that you are trying to forget. Steins age slower than people; I bet it will be a collector's item in another 50 years or so. Less and less steins are made in Germany at all nowadays. When they all come from China any German stein will be more special.
