Greetings, I apologize, I am not a stein collector. Rather, am a military collector. I recently acquired a stein in a group of material that has old repairs to the base. Nevertheless, I am still suspicious of all regimental steins' authenticity. So, before I do something stupid like represent it as real or fake, I thought I would turn to folks who really know the material. I am attaching a addresses to photos that should give a good idea of what it looks like. It appears to be porcelain as the base is transluscent. I would welcome any comments. I thank you all in advance. And, if anyone has questions on military relics, I will be happy to reciprocate the favor!
