Chris - thanks for the info. I wasn't sure if the "blue" Made in Germany was common to all Gerz steins or if it was possible to narrow down to a possible time period of production using this as a clue. Is the blue the only type of stamp used? Have you encountered many steins that you found to be from the West German era that were indeed marked "Made in Germany"?
