Stewart, I am using contemporary in the sense that it was made in my life time. I may be more contemporary (older) than you. You commonly see collectible shops advertising themselves as antique shops even though they are carrying items from the 1950s. Of course, there is nothing wrong with the 50s, as that is when I was growing up. For import purposes however, an item must be 100 years old to be an antique to avoid import duties. Ron
