Both the pewter and the body motif are definitely Jugendstil era. My initial guess at manufacturer based solely on appearance would be Marzi & Remy, and both the font style and size of the incised model number and the model number itself seem to be consistent with that guess. Jugendstil designs which were introduced circa 1910 were still produced for a number of years following that date, but production was greatly disrupted by the war and by rampant inflation which destroyed many businesses. Using the date on the stein as an indicator, I would date the stein between 1910 and 1920. It's a nice stein, and the pewter is particularly interesting.
