Hi, I realize this forum is for stein collectors, but do any of you deal with German tureen & mug sets? I am trying to determine the age/make of a set I recently purchased at a secondhand store. The mark appears to be an h or a 4 or a y depending on what angle it's viewed and it appears to be almost handmarked into the stoneware rather than stamped. Also, the serial numbers are 3 digit rather than 4 digit. The set is mostly creamy beige with cobalt blue medalions with scenes of various German castles. Also the Tureen is stamped MADE IN GERMANY. Any ideas? Thanks! Sara
