Hi, There is a fradulent German seller who is continously offering faience and stoneware reproduction as originals both on ebay.de and on ebay.com. Currently, he/she's selling as "123davenport123"; former handles were (among others) "123rariteatenladen", "victoria112008", "heikerau1", "2007essink", "timobeck80" and many others. In fact, it is more of a fraudulent "gang", all from the town of Rees in Germany. Although a couple of complaints have been made, nothing happened so far - they always return pretty soon. Their offers can be spot very easily - they always use the same pics over and over again, so that they already look worn like copies of copies of copies. The bottoms of the steins (if shown at all) are blackened with ashes or whatsoever; in most cases steins are König Pilsener annual steins. Most of their listings are items they already "sold" many times before, but never sent. I strongly advise you: DON'T BUY FROM THEM! You will either get a repro or, more likely, nothing at all.
