Dear Clare, Normally I would have removed your listing as this is not the place to promote your eBay listings. However, I think this will be an interesting auction to follow. I note this stein has an interesting "set-on" pewter lid, often referred to by stein collectors as "damaged". If you can find the appraiser who valued this piece at $275 in 1975, and the person who assured you that it is worth "much more today", I suggest you sell it to either one of them at $275 and let them reap the benefit of their expertise.
