Thank you both for your information. I wasn't really expecting it to be worth much and I certainly value it for my childhood memories and association with my grandfather. I do not plan on ever selling it or getting rid of it but I suppose "heirloom" wouldn't be the correct term in this context as it wouldn't have any meaning to my eventual children. I only have a couple of things from my grandfather and I value them greatly. Thanks again for your help :).
