Dave, Although it is irritating to watch supposed experts make errors in describing steins, it will have no big impact on the average Joe. I took a set of student association steins to the Antiques Road Show for evaluation in 2001. They put me on camera and interviewed me, but it was obvious to me that they had no idea what the steins represented. In my quest to learn the truth about the steins, I found the SCI web site. There I discovered what they were and decided to become a member. Had the show expert given me the correct information initially, I never would have joined SCI.
