Is it a bad idea to hold a large mettlach (3 liters or more) by the handle? I never do this but I'm wondering about other collectors. Also, I have a Mettlach that is rather uncommon and I am proud of it. It is mint except for some engraving (original) on the lid. Can this adversely affect value? Thx.
