Suddenly some family members noticed I collect steins and they are starting to buy me steins they see in garage sales and thrift stores. They assume since I "collect", then I will be thrilled to own as many steins as possible. Of course I have myself bought a thrift store stein or two, but that is because I LIKE them. I don't like ALL steins. I know they mean well. I just can't think of a way of telling them to stop without hurting feelings; and I know they will look at my shelves when they visit expecting to see their gifts.
