Rich, Are there any marks on the bottom of the stein? The Oktoberfest steins are licensed to Rastal, but they don't make all of them. Their name appears on all the bottoms, but the maker's name or logo appears below the capacity mark like the one shown on your stein. If the stein was made by Rastal, then the name "Rastal" appears below the capacity mark. Some were subcontracted to Franz Stuber of Munich and his initials "FS" appear in a diamond below the capacity mark. If the "W" is a small subcontractor, you may have difficulty in identifying him unless you can contact the firm that distributed the stein. Good Luck, Ron
