For those interested in expanding their German vocabulary, a newspaper article had the top 3 new words for 2008. Gammelfleischparty - spoiled-meat party or a gathering of folks over 30 years old. As in "SCI's next Gammelfleischparty is in Las Vegas". Bildschirmbraeune - screen tan. The complexion you get from too much time at a computer. And my favorite: Unterhopft - under hopped or in need of a beer.
