Thanks for reminding me of the term threaded relief. I believe this must be what they are. It looks rather like a true cloisonne, where the lines are raised and painted in between. I am not a member, so do not have access to the Beer Stein Library on a regular basis. Diesinger made a lot? Did they use the 3 colors I described that all 3 of the steins like this I have seen use?
