Diesinger made mostly relief steins, but the did make some threaded relief. However, there are many threaded relief steins with cream colored bodies and similar paint palette, subject matter and style which are thought not to be by Diesinger. A number of other companies also used this technique, some in saltglazed stein, some in polychrome on cream colored bodies.
