Steins and Water Aerobics

by JoAnn Ellis

This is the 3rd year we have held the water aerobics class at our Stein Collectors International Convention. The first year was when the Upper Midwest Society of Steinologist’s Chapter hosted the convention in 1993 in Bloomington, then we skipped a few years until 2001, when the Thirsty Knights hosted the convention in New Jersey and this year, 2003 when the Hoosier Stein Verein hosted the convention in Indianapolis. Although a few of the faces have changed, we have had a consistent number of between 8-12 persons at each morning session.

For those of you attended, I say "Hurrah to you!! What a great way to start your day!!!" Those of us who participate usually have enough energy to keep us going to the wee hours of the morning, and are back to the pool the first thing in the morning. "It’s the exercise that energizes us for what ever may come our way each day."

Be sure to bring your bathing suit next year to the Kansas City Convention. Water Aerobics is on the schedule again. See ya there!!!
