Gary Kirsner's 4th Edition Mettlach book indicates that the mark on the bottom was used c1880-1883. It is a fairly low mold number, so the date is probably correct. I don't know of this stein being reproduced. Kirsner also makes note that the familiar "tower" first came into use in about 1883.
